Greenville, Ohio - Ohio Crankshaft has engineered their new line of crankshafts specifically for the Small Block Chrysler application with a massive 4 inch stroke for special applications.

The new crank line features a choice of Chrysler or Small Block Chevy rod journal sizing. Enthusiasts can order the new crankshaft with choice of 340 or 360 main journal sizing and standard or magnum seal provisions as well.

Ohio Crankshaft develops 1,500/2048 horsepower in a new 763 cubic inch engine package.

Greenville, Ohio - Ohio Crankshaft, known for their over 1,000 crankshafts in stock is also a leader in complete racing engine development.

From a 5 inch bore center Brodix bullet, Ohio Crank has designed their own 763 cubic inch engine that puts out 2,048 horsepower with 1620 ft/lbs of torque on a conservative Shannon Jenkins/SpeedTech nitrous set-up. The same engine combination produces 1,500 horsepower with 1,250 ft/lbs of torque on "motor only" on the Ohio Crank dyno in the research and development center. Scott Ray of Ohio Crank comments, "The new 763 we developed has a brake specific fuel consumption of about .400, low exhaust temperatures and 100 psi of oil pressure."

Features include a Brodix 5" bore and 11.2 deck block with Brodix CNC heads. A 5.5 Ohio Crankshaft custom crank, BME Hemi forging rods, JE custom pistons, all Jesel valve train, Moroso dry sump and SpeedTech billet intake make up the basics of the engine. Greenville, Ohio - Ohio Crankshaft has engineered their new line of crankshafts specifically for supercharged alcohol Hemi applications.

Machined from heat treated 4340 billet material, and featuring a 5/32 radius on each main journal. The newly developed crankshafts also feature 3 keyways, and flat rear flange. Each crankshaft is custom finished to the customer's exact requirements and are available in strokes of 3.75", 4.15", 4.375"and 4.5" with Hemi main journal sizes.

Ohio Crankshaft Introduces New ProMax Line of Crankshafts.

Greenville, Ohio - Ohio Crankshaft announces a complete new line of ultra-high performance crankshafts for big block Chevrolet engines. The new ProMax line is forged of 4340/EN24 steel with a multiple heat treat process.

The ProMax cranks are gun drilled in the mains plus the counterweights are profiled for light weight and reduced windage. The big block Chevy shafts retain the popular Ohio Crankshaft center counterweight design to minimize torsional deflection. The full line of small block, big block and LS Chevrolet ProMax cranks are micropolished with the latest in film polishing technology.
