2/28/09 Lifter Geometry - Lifter wear and breakage has become more of a problem on BBC engines with the new higher lift, long duration cam shafts. We are doing more engines with bushed and larger diameter lifters. Another thing to consider is going to higher ratio rockers to achieve higher lift. |

12/2/09 - Ohio Crankshaft No Box Nationals moves to Indy - Triple O Promotions announced today that the 3rd Annual Ohio Crankshaft No Box Nationals will be held June 25-27th, 2010 at O’Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis.
The first two Ohio Crankshaft No Box Nationals were held at Bunker Hill Dragstrip in Kokomo, IN. “Steve Daniels and his crew at Bunker have been great to us and guided us from what started out as just an idea to the making’s of one of the best No Box races in the Midwest,” said Allyn Neff. “We felt apprehensive about switching venues but felt it was necessary in order to build our race up to its highest potential.” |

11/2/09 - NHRA announces creation of new NHRA Get Screened America Pro Mod Drag Racing Series - New series will be recognized as the third competing at national events in 2010 - What began as an exhibition in 2001 has become a full-fledged series for 2010, it was announced today by NHRA. Made possible by funding from ProCare Rx and its current Get Screened America initiative, the 2010 NHRA Get Screened America Pro Mod Drag Racing Series will compete at 10 NHRA Full Throttle Series events and be televised on a tape-delay basis on ESPN2. |

My 383 runs low 12's with a set of stock Vortech heads and a .467/.490 lift hydraulic cam in a 3200 lb. car.Also, I was very impressed that you were able to assemble my short block in less than two weeks. 7/18/09 Lifter Geometry - Lifter wear and breakage has become more of a problem on BBC engines with the new higher lift, long duration cam shafts. We are doing more engines with bushed and larger diameter lifters. Another thing to consider is going to higher ratio rockers to achieve higher lift. |

Trailer also has an Onan generator, but we have not used it in several years as we had a separate generator. It cranks over good but did not start, would probably need fresh gas, etc.

Chet Price doubled up with wins in Super Pro on both Saturday and Sunday, automatically earning the Super Bowl Super Bonus on Sunday as well for a $5,500 payday. Greg Dillman took the win in Pro on Saturday, and Darrell Hurt won Pro on Sunday, with Darrell coming out on top with the Run-off win and the Super Bowl Super Bonus money added to his purse. 6/4/07 - New Aluminum Rod - Ohio Crankshaft has released a new line of CNC machined forged T6-7075 aluminum connecting rods for the serious racer. Completely designed and dyno tested in house the new rod has features like ARP 2000 bolts, dowel ring cap locaters and brass bearing pins. Currently rods are available for the BBC from 6.135" to 7.100" and for the SBC in 6" length. These rods are priced very competively and are available now. |

Taking advantage of a little free dyno time over the holiday break, the World Products/Ohio Crankshaft Pro Mod engine program got to make some serious noise on the shop dynamometer. 11/20/06 - New 620 Super Class Complete Motor
Oh This is a special project for the Super class, and serious bracket racer, that needs power and torque, but also has to make rounds all day without motor maintenance. This engine made 880 HP at 6400 RPM with 820 lb. ft. of torque at 4800 running 33 degrees of timing. The cam lift is only .748 and the rockers are Jesel shaft mount. No need to check valve springs and lash between rounds.Every component is available off the shelf, the bore size will allow two rebores, and the compression is 13.5/1 which does not require the ultra expensive gas, or could be run on alcohol. The Best part is the price at $9995, complete, less carb and ignition, this is a really great deal!rently rods are available for the BBC from 6.135" to 7.100" and for the SBC in 6" length.
